Elementary School

Balance is our strength. Teachers, students, and parents show this by understanding intellectual, physical, and emotional balance to achieve well-being. We present children with a broad range of experiences and create opportunities to explore the world around them. 

Principal’s Message

The School works closely with families to support academics, discipline, responsibility and the character development of our students. Our facilities match our high academic standards for a competitive world school. Our Elementary School is a great place to be for students. There are 20+ nationalities represented by Elementary students.

Over 90% of our students meet or exceed national standards in Math and Spanish.  They also score in the average to above average stanines in every subtest on the United States standardized exam Stanford. Our students are knowledgeable and critical thinkers.  The core academic program is supported by the systematic teaching of character education (through core ethical values, such as fairness, honesty, compassion, responsibility, respect, and self-discipline). This class contributes to the learner profile of being principled, open minded and caring. Special classes support the academic program in an integrated manner.  

The Elementary School has begun the journey of the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate. The PYP will help us prepare students for the MYP and Diploma Programme, as well as help them to learn through inquiry.

The JFK Elementary School is in a constant cycle of improvement. We are risk takers and reflective as we constantly evolve. It is a blessing to be leading the school during this time of excitement and change. These years to come will be even better and brighter.
